Welcome to all of my visitors.  This Site is serving a dual purpose.  First we intend to publish a little information about the life of Kimberly Youngs, a young girl growing up in Arizona.  Second is to provide an avenue for the webmaster to develop a few skills in building the site. The text in the majority of this site is a joint effort between Kimberly and her Dad.  Kimberly's page (to be developed soon) will be about 99 percent Kimberly, with spelling help from the software.

Among other activities, Kimberly is a budding young figure skater.  As of this time she might best be termed as an unseen "Unseen Skater."  Kimberly passed her Pre-Preliminary tests in Late May and her Preliminary Moves in the Field test in mid July.  Although she is not yet on any of the "radar screens" that follow the sport I believe that in a year or so that she will begin to be noticed by people beyond the local rink and skating club.  Kimberly skated in California for the first time at the 2004 Los Angeles Open earning a 1st and 5th placement.  She will next skate at Golden West early in September.

There will be frequent updates to this site as the construction progresses.  Hopefully progress will be made on a daily basis until there is at least some sort of basic skeleton in place.  It is intended to have some photographs, future schedule and past results,  links to her coach, her brother,  special friends, a guest page and a diary for Kimmie to personally post weekly.

While we work on setting up some new pages I will mention the skater that I look up to for my inspiration.  My friend Katlynn McNab is a terrific Juvenile skater that we believe is really going places.  I really hope that in a couple of years, with a lot of hard work, I will be as good as she is now.  Watch for her to make a further impression on the national scene this year.   KatlynnMcnab.com
